Making an Impact: Here-to-Help 

Working alongside the Stamford Public Schools district, SPEF launched the Here-to-Help program, a centralized hub for families to access resources and information to enhance their child’s education experience. It also provides direct outreach to the disengaged students/families faced with challenges during the COVID-19 Pandemic. To date, SPEF staff and our community partners have supported nearly 500 students with the resources they need to be successful in a remote learning environment. Specific needs include childcare, internet access, Parent Portal support, translation services, and homework assistance.

The work continues but progress is being made, one student at a time!

Spotlight on Supporters

Gartner gives back to the Stamford community

We are so proud to call Gartner, based here in Stamford, a true partner. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, Gartner associates donated more than 200 hours of their time in various community giving activities, including serving meals, prepping laptops for Stamford High, doing mock-interviews at AITE, and putting together an enthusiastic team of walkers and runners for our annual MarcUS for Change 5K. Did I mention they are generously providing funding support as well? It's no wonder we are excited to be presenting Gartner with our SPEF Community Giving Award on March 25th during our virtual Excellence in Education Awards ceremony.
